With exactly 10 days left in the winter transfer window, none of the top six Premier League sides have made any major signings so far. But the latest rumours on the 21st January might not be the best news for Arsenal and Manchester City fans with their respective frontmen linked to other clubs. Here is everything you need to know about the major news for the top six EPL sides in the winter transfer window:
Arsenal: Auba to Barcelona?

Aubameyang is literally the only reason Arsenal are still in the top half of the table. The Gabon international has scored 14 league goals this season and is third in the race for EPL Golden Shoe. But if the reports from Goal.com are to be believed, Barcelona are planning a near impossible loan move for Auba.
Barca’s No. 9, Luis Suarez has been ruled out for four months due to an injury. The Catalans are in the market for Uruguayan’s short-term replacement and will try to sign Aubameyang on a loan move. Despite Arsenal captain being in the last 18 months of his contract, the move to Camp Nou looks highly unlikely. Arsenal and especially Arteta will be eager to keep hold of their main man in front of the goal to save their campaign.
Chelsea: Cavani talks but no bid yet:

Chelsea board and manager Frank Lampard have shown their interest in PSG’s wantaway striker Edinson Cavani. But the Blues are yet to table an official bid for the Uruguayan with just 10 days left in the transfer market.
The Stamford Bridge outfit could definitely use a striker of Cavani’s stature to take the goalscoring load off Tammy Abraham’s shoulders. And with the PSG player in the last six months of his contract, this is a great opportunity for the Blues. But they are likely to face competition from Manchester United and Tottenham, who are in the market for a striker after a long-term injury to their respective strikers.
Chelsea’s technical mentor Claude Makelele recently traveled to Paris to discuss the signing of a 17-year old Kays Ruiz Atil from PSG. Mr. Makelele is reported to have also discussed Cavani’s situation during his meeting with PSG.
Liverpool: Rejects two loan moves for Shaqiri:

The Reds have rejected loan offers for Xherdan Shaqiri from Roma and Sevilla in the ongoing transfer window. The Swiss has started just three games this season amidst injuries and the form of Liverpool’s front three. But the Reds are not willing to sell Shaqiri at least until the summer transfer window.
The reports from Goal.com suggest that Liverpool will put the price tag of €30m on the winger in the summer. But with a hectic second half of the season to be played, Shaqiri is definitely staying at the Anfield for now.
Man City: Aguero to Miami?

David Beckham-owned Inter Miami will make their official debut in MLS in 2020 and are currently busy building a team. Beckham is trying to use his connections in the football world to get the best names at Miami and City’s Sergio Aguero could be one of them.
The Argentine striker is in the last 18 months of his contract and has been recently linked with a move away from the Etihad. According to The Sun, Inter Miami have already contacted Aguero’s agent for a potential move. But the move looks highly unlikely at the moment as the 31-year old has hardly slowed down. Aguero is currently second in the race for EPL Golden Shoe with 15 goals and also recently became the highest-scoring foreigner in the Premier League.
Man United: Search for Rashford replacement continues:

Manchester United have suffered a huge setback in their pursuit of a top-four finish as their main-man Marcus Rashford has been sidelined for three months due to an injury. The Englishman is United’s top scorer this season with 18 goals so far. But the Red Devils are now in search of a striker for the rest of the season.
Names like Edinson Cavani, Moussa Dembélé of Lyon and Wolves striker Raul Jimenez have been discussed for a January move. But Lyon are reportedly not willing to part ways with their €50m-rated striker in January.
Meanwhile, Man Utd youngster, Tahith Chong is likely to join Inter Milan as a free agent in the summer. Fabrizio Romano reported that Inter are meeting with Chong’s agent to pursue a move at the end of the season.
Spurs: Target Real Madrid star on loan:

With Harry Kane out for almost the rest of the season, Spurs are trying to speed up their search for striker for the rest of the season. Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic’s name has come up as Mourinho is a big fan of the player.
Jovic has made just four league starts in his debut season as he continues to be Karim Benzema’s understudy at Madrid. But a loan move to North London will give him much more game time and exposure and Spurs are currently without out and out striker.
