IPL hosted at UAE will come to an end today after the final match between Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Delhi Capitals (DC). Both the teams are in full form throughout this season. Today’s match will be very tough because one is a successful team of IPL and another had changed their tag from underdogs to table toppers.
During this IPL many of the cricket analyzers expressed their opinion about the players. However, they also shortlisted their playing XI from the current IPL season. As many of the unknown names come forward during this IPL season.
Likewise, Tom Moody former Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) coach through his analysis disclosed his playing XI team from this season. He allowed youngsters to take place in his team and excluded most of the prolific players from his squad.
He did the brilliant combination of batting, bowling, and all-rounders to form his team. As a result, he not included the Indian captain and vice-captain duo from his lineup. Also not included a single player from Chennai super Kings (CSK).

Former Australian player also included uncapped players in his team. Whereas he used the IPL rule of four overseas players and one uncapped player should be present in the team. According to the same pattern he shortlisted his team.

No place for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in Moody’s IPL team
Though Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma led their sides in playoffs then also he excluded them. Everyone was shocked after not seeing both the names in his playing XI. Because both of them had the average performance for their teams.
The reason behind not including these Indian players is Rohit Sharma’s injury as he was absent for a couple of matches throughout this season. On the other hand, Virat Kohli’s inconsistency takes away from being a part of Tom Moody’s team.
The most important thing is that consistent all-rounder of Delhi Capitals (DC) because of whom they reached at IPL 2020 final missed the place in Tom Moody’s team. Whereas, Trent Boult also falls out from his XI.

Perfect combination of players and sensitive selection
While selecting his team he used a sense of humor and followed all the IPL rules. As he included top run-scorers of this IPL as his openers i.e KL Rahul and Dhawan. As KL Rahul is at the top position for orange cap and Dhawan his behind by almost 70 runs. But he is yet to bat into finals against Mumbai Indians (MI).
For one down he gave a chance to Mumbai Indians (MI) player Suryakumar Yadav instead of Virat Kohli. But included ABD at number four due to his consistency with youngster Ishan Kishan. In the bowling department, he entered three successful pacers of IPL 2020.
He used only one all-rounder in his team i.e Rahul Tewatia from Rajasthan Royals (RR). He might be the good helping hand for the leg spinner duo i.e Rashid Khan and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Not included CSK and KKR players
However, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) finished seven in the IPL 2020. But players like Faf du Plessis, Rohit Gaikwad were brilliant. But he excluded all the CSK team. Along with them he also not used Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) players as their bowling unit had performed brilliantly.
