1. Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal)

Jesus returned to form the last gameweek against Leicester. Jesus scored a brace in Arsenal’s 4-2 win over the Foxes last week. He scored 19 points last gameweek including 3 bonus points.

The next match is away against Bournemouth, who have allowed 34 shots on goal in their first two games, second only to Nottingham Forest. Over the weekend, the Cherries let in four goals to Manchester City. Jesus would be the perfect captain pick for FPL managers in GW 3.

2. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspurs)

After disappointment in the first game against Southampton. Kane returned to form against Chelsea. He scored the late goal to earn Spurs a draw (a point) With Son to support him we expect Kane to go big this gameweek.

Under the guidance of Antonio Conte, the Spurs have performed admirably as a team. They generate a respectable number of scoring opportunities in each match, and they have netted six goals so far in this campaign.

Spurs are hosting Wolves who are struggling with defense this season. They already conceded a goal in the last 2 matches they have played. Overall Wolves looks defensively susceptible and thus FPL managers can bang on Kane to be their captain for this week.

3. Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

After his gameweek 1 heroics, Haaland had quite a week against Bournemouth. From an FPL standpoint, Haaland fared okay by netting himself an assist. He performed better than Mo Salah blanked.

Haaland had only 8 touches against Bournemouth. But his off-the-ball movement and gameplay overall was up to the mark. With Manchester City facing Newcastle United, it barely managed to keep a clean sheet against Brighton. We expect Haaland to return to goal-scoring duties this week. Erling Haaland remains to be an excellent option for FPL captain even in this gameweek 3.

4. Mohammed Salah (Liverpool)

Salah had a very disappointing gameweek last weekend. One important thing to keep in mind with Darwin Nunez’s suspension and concerns over Firmino’s fitness. Salah will be the main man leading the Liverpool attack. So FPL managers might give thought to captaining him in your gameweek squad for this GW3.

With Liverpool visiting Old Trafford this weekend to face all- time low Manchester United we expect some thrilling goals from Salah. Salah is one of those players that looks forward to competing against Manchester United. In fact, he has scored seven times in his past nine Premier League matches against Man United, including a hat trick in last season’s encounter.
