Since summer transfer window has reached its end on Wednesday for England. Clubs were busy including Tottenham Hotspur who wish to bolster their squad till the very end. After having few busy hours on the deadline day, the club eventually announced its eminent summer signings on social media and on its official site.
The Real Betis Argentinian Midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso is now a Tottenham Hotspur player and is a second new arrival on the deadline day as per the reports.
The news of deal confirmation has come via club’s official website as well as on social media channels on Wednesday evening. This happened when the two teams reached out an agreement and Spurs agreed a deal for season long loan signing.
The player joined the Spurs on long loan deal after the two clubs failed to negotiate on the fee structure and the payment, with the obligation of signing him permanently for £51m next season.
He is now a player of north London outfit along with the fellow summer signing Jack Clarke who is also a confirmed Spurs player, but the teenager has been sent back to Leeds United until next summer on loan and the costliest signing of the club till date, Tanguy Ndombele are the three new faces at the Mauricio Pochetino side.
The transfer saga regarding the player ended on a good note following the signing of Ryan Sessegnon who also made a move from Fulham to Lilywhites.
Lo Celso’ was believed to make a move to Tottenham since ages despite the news that Manchester United wants to acquire him. The player was very keen to play under Mauricio Pochetino for Tottenham Hotspur. While the manager also tried hard to push through a deal for the same.
It is also believed that Marcos Alvarez is the one person who could have played a key role in making a deal reach a good end. The fitness coach has worked during Juande Ramos at White Hart lane in year 2008-2008.
And reportedly it appears that he might have recommended Spurs to Lo Celso’.
Spurs Fans were also desperate to see Paulo Dybala in the shirt of Liywhites yet the deal with Juventus could not happen after the club decided to keep him with them.
Lo Celso’ will add more depth to the attacking field of Spurs which already includes the likes of Son Heung Mon, Dele Alli, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen
