Tottenham Hotspur Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur has struck a deal with Everton to bring in Richarlison at Goodison Park. The club has agreed on a fee of around £50m with the player’s medical due on Thursday.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Spurs will initially pay a guaranteed fee of £50m upfront and then will pay an additional £10m in add-ons. The Brazilian forward will sign a long-term contract with the North London club.
Antonio Conte wanted to bring in Richarlison as an understudy to Harry Kane. He can even make him operate as a winger. The 25-year-old was his preferred signing this summer.
Tottenham has already closed deals for Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, and Fraser Forster. Also, director Paritici has earmarked Barcelona center-back Clement Lenglet as his next target.

Chairman Daniel Levy is notorious when dealing with transfers. Managers like Jose Mourinho, and Mauricio Pochettino had struggled to convince Levy to sign their top targets.
However, the arrival of Fabio Paritici has changed the entire environment inside the Tottenham board. The club is heading in the right direction as evident by the fact that they backed their manager, Antonio Conte really well.
The transfers have been sealed on time, and they are able to make smart moves for players that suit the manager’s style. Conte had made it clear that he wants the club to listen to the manager and stop blaming them for the failures.
Daniel Levy’s trust helped the manager grab the Champions League spot last season. With this positive optimism, they could now challenge for top titles next season.
Spurs are in talks with Barcelona to sign Clement Lenglet on loan for the upcoming season. Currently, the French center-back is not a part of Xavi’s plans.

He would be a bench warmer next season and therefore, it would be a wise decision for the defender to leave the club. Antonio Conte wants to have a center-back to provide him squad depth and also test him alongside Romero.
As things stand, a deal would not be difficult to complete as Barcelona need to ease off some pressure from their financial books. Spurs signed all paperwork on time while dealing with Richarlison and so they managed to escape the financial fair play pressure.
Many felt pity for the way Antonio Conte left Inter Milan but now it seems that he is destined for greater rewards at Tottenham with the squad at his disposal.
