Most of the players have already reached to catch up with their teammates as the tournament draws closer. Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli, who will be leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their endeavor to win their first-ever IPL trophy.

The players of all the franchisees are getting themselves accustomed to the conditions at the new venue amidst the restrictions due to the pandemic. They are also looking to include some fun activities in their training sessions as well.

One such activity was initiated by the bowling coach of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad, Adam Griffith. It was to help the bowlers get their rhythm going. The drill is known as the yorker challenge and is initiated to assess the precision of the bowlers, especially the faster ones.

Though skipper Virat Kohli was not a part of the exercise. But it was evident from his reactions that he thoroughly enjoyed the fun activity. He was all smiling while sitting on the sidelines to see the bowlers featuring in the activity. He was motivating them throughout the whole activity and Twitter went abuzz with the Indian skipper’s presence during the RCB yorker challenge.

A number of users went ga-ga over the involvement of Kohli in the fun exercise.

It was indeed a great session filled with fun as well as learning and it was evident from the reaction of the skipper and his teammates in the RCB ranks. Now it has to be seen whether they can replicate the same enthusiasm and energy on the pitch when the tournament starts.
