Imagine a time when there will be no Ronaldo or Messi. A time when El Clasico would be considered as a faceoff between Barcelona and Real Madrid and not a competition between two individuals. When records would stay intact for a year or two and not be broken daily. A time when football would witness an end of an era. Hard to imagine, isn’t it?
But yes, that is the truth. Down the lane there definitely would be a time when we wouldn’t see these two great players stepping on the pitch and changing the way football is played. Messi recently turned 29 while his rival Cristiano Ronaldo will turn 32 in February, so the time is soon approaching when they would need to pass the baton to someone else.
These two superstars of footballs are sure irreplaceable. However, there are a few talents rising who might be able to fit in their shoes if not completely then at least partially. Some of the rising names appreciated as well as adored for their great footballing abilities include Marcus Rashford, Ousmane Dembele, Kingsley Coman and Moussa Dembele. Each of these players has made their names famous in the football world and have been nominated for the FIFA Golden Boy Award 2016.
However, Carlos Ancelotti has other players in mind
According to Bayern Munich’s coach Carlos Ancelotti Neymar and Juventus player Paulo Dybala are two talents who can leave the same impression on world football that Ronaldo and Messi have.
“Dybala and Neymar can become the heirs to Messi and Ronaldo,” Ancelotti said to TuttorsportÂ
Praising Dybala’s game sense and style he added “Dybala can make history at Juventus over the next 10 years. He is unique; you cannot compare him to any other player.”
Potential is There to Be Seen
Paul Dybala has successfully scored 4 goals in last 11 matches playing for Juventus, while Neymar is on fire with 91 goals for Barcelona  overall and six goals in last 13 matches this season.
While Dybala is being thought of as an heir to Messi, Neymar has been groomed to become one of the best players since his last move to Barcelona in 2013. It wouldn’t be long since this player who was nominated 3rd in FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015 would end the stranglehold of these two greats on one of the greatest trophies offered by FIFA.
