UFC: Former UFC middleweight and welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre believes that light heavyweight knockout artist Ji Procházka is the future of the division and will clinch the title next month.
Few people have lived up to their reputation as quickly as Procházka has since joining the UFC. After 30 professional fights, He record a staggering 23 knockouts in 26 victories and held 205-pound gold in the renowned Rizin promotion, After that, the Czech Republic native was signed by the MMA leader.
Procházka’s power has been painfully discovered by two UFC top contenders. In 2020, it was former title challenger Volkan Oezdemir, whose attempt to crash the welcome party resulted in a nap on the canvas courtesy of a brutal right hand.
Dominic Reyes was the next victim of Prochazka as he was viciously Knocked out by a spinning elbow in a knockout of the year candidate which resulted in his face being planted on the canvas. The fight was entertaining till it lasted.

Procházka is destined to be a “future world champion” St-Pierre.
St-Pierre was asked about the rise of Procházka during an interview with MMA News’ James Lynch.
The Canadian, who is considered one of the best martial artists ever in UFC, predicted big things for the 29-year-old. He’s still suspicious if his yet-to-be-seen ground game is good enough to deal with the division’s grapplers.
“100% (I enjoy watching him). He’s very dangerous. And he’s a great striker,” noted St-Pierre. “But I think, maybe his ground game, we haven’t seen him too much on the ground. He’s never been exposed that much. That’s the thing, a lot of guys, they haven’t been exposed.
“I’m curious to see him compete more. But he’s very impressive. I think he’s going to be the future world champion,” St-Pierre added
Glover Teixeira, the Czech striker’s next opponent, is the only man in the division who can ‘expose’ Procházka on the ground, as GSP put it. On June 11, the two will fight for light-heavyweight gold in the main event of UFC 275. The promotion is expected to return to Singapore with this card.
If “Denisa” is able to deal with the champion’s grappling game, which helped him dethrone Jan Blachowicz at the age of 42 last October, St-prediction Pierre’s could come true as early as this summer.
Weili Zhang vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk 2 on the same card
UFC 275 will also feature the fight of the year from 2020. On June 11, former champions Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk will rematch in Singapore. . Zhang (21-3) and Jedrzejczyk (16-4) fought In March 2020 in what was arguably the greatest women’s MMA fight ever after a back-and-forth battle with Jedrzejczyk.
