Can this be the biggest money fight for UFC?: Conor McGregor: Jorge Masvidal and Conor’s heated Twitter exchange.

Two of the UFC superstars Conor McGregor and Jorge Masvidal are in a Twitter war and no one is willing to back down.

Masvidal is coming off 3 losses but all of them have been against a top-quality opponent. Masvidal believes Conor like the BMF title fight with him but won’t sign the contract.

Conor on the other hand is still recovering from his leg injury and is looking at the opponents for his return.

According to Conor, Masvidal’s decision to attack Colby Covington was not the best. He then went on to tweet

Masvidal discussed his return in a recent interview. His two back-to-back fights with the top contender are more than enough to qualify him for the title fight.

Masvidal stated Conor had taken steroids and bulked up and stated Conor was an easy target.

Masvidal’s statements elicited a deleted tweet from the notorious

“An absolute pigeon brain that guy is. Stupid beyond belief.”

To which Masvidal went ahead and tweeted –

Tony, Chandler, Diar, and Oliviera, Everyone calling in for a money fight with the Notorious

Jorge Masvidal is the latest addition among the fighters list that has called for a shot at Mystic Mac. A number of fighters have called out McGregor in recent weeks.

Micheal Chandler has one of the best callouts after his KO win over Ferguson. Micheal pulled a smart strategy as he respectfully called out the Notorious. He wanted a showdown at 170 pounds as he believed Conor will have his next fight at welterweight.

Charles Oliviera also wants the money to fight McGregor for the Lightweight title. No one could blame Charles as he does deserve a money fight after he has been through.

Justin Gaethje also said that he wanted to end McGregor’s career. They both had their back and forth on Twitter when Conor returned against Cowboy earlier.

Tony Ferguson has called out both Conor & Khabib as he believes they both own him for screwing him earlier.

Nate Diaz is also looking for a fight but it’s highly unlikely UFC will give him McGregor for his last fight.

Conor’s trilogy with Dustin ended with Conor snapping his leg and suffering a career-threatening injury. Many suspected that it was the last time he entered the Octagon and won’t be able to make a comeback.

Notorious to the surprise of many has recovered and is back in training. He has been hitting the pads lately. He also seems to have gained weight which makes it interesting to see in which weight class he’ll fight.

Conor’s latest beef with Jorge is interesting as they are both currently two of the biggest UFC stars. A fight will be the biggest in UFC history and would break all the PPV numbers. Build-up among those will also be interesting to watch.

There are a lot of uncertainties around when Conor’ll fight, and whom he’ll fight. One thing for sure is Dana has no shortage of opponents for The Notorious.
