The 21-year-old has so far made 19 appearances for the Viola since joining from Partizan Belgrade last summer, and he impressed during his three outings for Serbia at this summer’s World Cup in Russia. Milenkovic is equally effective when deployed as a right back.
The 21-year old Manchester United target could be the long-term partner for Niklas Sule at the heart of the Bavarian’s defence, with Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng now 29 and 30 years old respectively and now it could be the best time for Bayern Munich to sign the Serbian defender.
Also, Manchester United are in desperate need of defensive reinforcement and if the Red Devils miss out on the signing of Milenkovic, the rift between Jose Mourinho and Manchester United hierarchy will only be become worse.
