Solskjaer on injured players

Ole comments on the Injury of Rashford is also not very encouraging. He said, “If he plays [against Palace] I’ll be maybe surprised.
“I’ve never seen the like of this before, three hamstrings in the first-half. Rashy obviously was kicked, he did his ankle straight away, we should have taken him off as well, but we didn’t did we?
“But we’ve got some good kids coming through, so we’ll have 11 players on the pitch on Wednesday night. And luckily we’ve got two days recovery!
The Norwengian tactician goes on to add more about the injuries and the England International. He added, “You’re never surprised in football, you’ve always got to be ready for anything. Losing three players in the first-half with hamstring injuries and we probably should’ve taken Marcus off as well.
“[Jordan] Henderson went through him. His ankle is like a balloon, that was just one of many fouls on him. If that’s not an accumulation of fouls I don’t know.
“He’s a Manc and he knows what this means. We had to keep him on because we’d made three subs.”
Solskjaer is full of praises for the duo of Luke Shaw and Mctominay after their impressive display against the leaders Liverpool. He said, “Everything that could have gone wrong in the first half went wrong. We had four injuries – we had to keep Marcus Rashford on – it seemed like it was going to be a tough afternoon.
“I can’t remember Liverpool having a chance. Even though they had possession, I can’t remember David de Gea making a save.
“Scott McTominay was excellent. When they need a goal and they take Mohamed Salah off you know Luke Shaw has played a good game.”
Manchester United is going to take on in form Crystal Palace on wednesday at Selhurt Park.
Manchester United display against Liverpool is one of the best keeping in mind all the injuries in their team in and before the game. Liverpool were not able to get any clear cut chances even though they have one of the best attacking unit in the league.
