Manchester United has won the race in signing the Brazil youth starlet Gabriel Veronica from Palmeiras at the end of January. The Red Devils stand ahead of Manchester City and La Liga giants Barcelona as they lead the race for Veron. There are also reports that Paul Pogba might make a U-turn to commit his forthcoming future at Old Trafford amid new linking him with an exit in the summer.

According to the reports from Sport, Manchester United is leading the race to prise away the Brazil youth international at the end of this month. United appears to be the favorite to land the promising forward. As the club remains hopeful of winning the League title for the first time in years.
The reports also add that the Premier League rivals Manchester City along with Arsenal wanted to sign the 18 years old. Whereas Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta appeared as an admirer. Barcelona, Juventus, Real Madrid have also been vying for his signature.
The sudden interest in Veron appeared following his first-team appearance for the Palmeiras. The Brazilian wonder kid has bagged 15 goals in 36 senior games. Brazil forward was awarded the Golden Ball when his side won the U-17 world cup in 2019. The versatile forward is able to play on either flank. He also has a 53million release clause in his current contract. But the reports suggest that he could part ways with the Palmeiras at the feasible fees.
Pogba to pull-off a U-turn
Amid all the speculations surrounding Paul Pogba’s future at Old Trafford where his latest form has given a major contribution in leveling United at the top. His agent Mino Raiola has insisted that his agent would like to leave at the end of the summer. However, Pogba has sent a contradicting message to his agent for a second time.
In December Raiola has made claims that Pogba is unhappy with United and is waiting to leave in the summer. However, after securing a win over Fulham Pogba said that he loves winning, and being on the pitch always makes him happy. The fact that he is happy is because of a win. But the day his side will lose, he will be angry again.
The Frenchman has insisted that he’s happy with the club after scoring a winner against Fulham. His statement has further given hope to United officials that Pogba is seeing his long-term future at Old Trafford and that he is prepared to serve the club for few more years.
Paul Pogba enters the final two years of his contract with Manchester United. The France international is impressed with Bruno Fernandes and might end up linking with him in the midfield. If he decides to sign an extension with the club.
United could bid a goodbye to Rojo
Marcos Rojo is already in the final year of his contract with United. Most importantly the defender failed to make a single appearance for the Red Devils in this campaign so far. Rojo is set to part his ways with United. The reports from Argentine Outlet TyC Sports claim that Rojo has decided to wait till the deadline day of the underway transfer window. This decision is made so as to wait if any European club expresses their interest in signing him. Else he has already agreed to return to his homeland and join Boca Juniors instead.
