Valencia may lose midfield ace to Arsenal in January window

Arsenal are planning to swoop Valencia midfielder, Carlos Soler. Though the Gunners have been eyeing Soler for a long time. Arsenal was holding back due to a lack of transfer funds last summer. But according to El Desmarque, Arsenal may have the edge to sign Soler this time around. Valencia are at a very weak stage financially and will accept any genuine offer.

Mikel Arteta was reportedly keen to sign the Spanish midfielder last summer. But Arsenal was themselves facing financial issues. Limiting Mikel Arteta with a very scarce transfer fund. Yet the Spanish manager was able to make some key signings six months back. But he is hoping to strengthen his lineup further and will likely utilize this window.

Arsenal did have a tough time a while back but are seemingly back on track. The Gunners have won their last three games. Beating Chelsea (3-1), Brighton (1-0), and thrashing West Brom to a four-goal victory. A key factor in all these victories was Arsenal’s change in lineup. Mikel Arteta was able to add more creativity to the midfield and hence was able to secure positive results.

Arteta is looking to sign a creative attacking midfielder this window as well. Carlos Soler is a suitable candidate for the role and Arsenal hopes to lure him in. Securing more wins in the coming games will help Arsenal climb up the PL table. They are 11th in the table and face Crystal Palace next on Friday.

Valencia are at an unstable stage

LaLiga side Valencia are having a really tough season this term. Los Ches are struggling to keep themselves out of the relegation zone. Valencia has just three wins in 16 games and lies 17th in the LaLiga table. If not for their advantage in goal difference, they might already be in the relegation zone.

The reason for the club’s drastic downfall is its financial instability. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Valencia is facing big financial troubles. To cope with that they had to sell some of their best players in the previous transfer window. Hoping to cut down on huge wage bills and increase funds in their coffers.

But the situation is still bad for the Spanish club. Forcing them to sell more players to save the club. This will benefit Arsenal, who have long been eyeing Valencia midfielder, Carlos Soler. Arsenal themselves, who were financially unstable, currently looks more stable. Mikel Arteta is keen to utilize this window to reinforce his squad.

Arteta is hoping to add more creativity to his midfield. Carlos Soler is one of the top choices of Arteta to add to his centre of the park. But there are no updates on how much the player will be worth or how much Arsenal are ready to pay. However, the interest in the Spaniard is genuine.

Valencia are reluctant to sell Soler

The Spanish side are already having a bad time so far into the season. Losing some of their key players in the summer has cost them big. But the current situation is pushing them to release more stars to save the club. This will make things harder for Valencia as they may face relegation if they can’t improve from this form.

Carlos Soler is a key member of their club and losing them will cost them. But the situation us difficult and hard decisions must be made. Arsenal will be able to use Valencia’s situation to their advantage. Urging the club to sell their players for a sum favorable for the Gunners.

Arsenal saw some great improvements in play after the introduction of Emile Smith Rowe. The midfielder was able to bring the creativity that Arsenal was missing. If Arsenal are able to sign Soler, Arteta’s side may be able to play with a greater upper hand. Soler is also a creative player with an eye for making the right passes and through balls.

Mikel Arteta is hoping to promote the table soon with his new tactics. A few more wins will shorten Arsenal’s gap to the top four. Mikel Arteta seems to have got his plans working in his favor currently. The Gunners can’t hope to win the league this term, but a spot in the top four is still possible.
