The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has forced all the people to stay in lockdown in their homes. In the meantime, the athletes are maintaining their fitness schedule by doing heavy workouts in this lockdown time. They are also taking to their social media and posting their videos of them doing workouts. The Indian Captain, Virat Kohli, is certainly one of the fittest athletes in the world. Kohli has to work hard extra in this free schedule to maintain his fitness. He has to maintain his intensity so that he does not lose his fitness during this lockdown period. Virat Kohli along with other athletes has been away from the game from a long time, due to this coronavirus outbreak. The 31-years-old is spending his time in isolation in his house, with his wife Anushka Sharma. On Tuesday, Virat Posted one of his Gym workout video on social media.

Kohli posted this video on Instagram to provide major fitness goals to his fan. Not only this, but he also gave away a short and crisp message in the caption, “Earn it. Don’t demand it.” The video became viral on social media in no time. It garnered over 19 lakh views within an hour on Instagram. AB de Villiers and Harbhajan Singh were the ones who liked his video.

On the other hand, Virat’s wife Anushka Sharma posted a video of her husband Virat Kohli on Instagram. Kohli was pretending to be a dinosaur in the video. So, Anushka wrote in the caption of the video “I spotted… A Dinosaur on the loose.” The video showed Virat animatedly entering the room, with arms near his chest, just like a dinosaur. He then pauses, turns towards the camera and lets out a screech. Even this video has gone viral. It has got nearly a million likes.

Anushka Sharma’s brother and producing partner Karnesh Sharma commented on the post, “This lockdown is bringing all kind of creatures outside.” Anushka replied to him, “It’s better these creatures come out than us going out.” Bollywood actress Kajal Agarwal commented, “Hahahaha” on the video, while Actor Karan Wahi and filmmaker Prosit Roy commented by posting laughing emojis in the comments section. Even a fan came out and called Kohli as “The Cutest Dinosaur Ever.”

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been posting videos on their social media to make the mass aware of the coronavirus. They have also contributed to the ‘PM Relief Fund’, in a bid to fight with the COVID-19 crisis. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was part of an Instagram live chat session with Indian Football team Captain Sunil Chhetri recently. During the chat, he talked about the value of Anushka Sharma in his life. He said that he was ‘self-centred’ before Anushka came to her life. He revealed that Anushka taught him to value companionship.

“I say that because when she came into my life, everything negative in me changed for good. I have always mentioned that before I met her I was very self-centred. Very focused on what I like to do, what I need to do. Having my comfort zone was a big thing,” Kohli said about Anushka.
“When you meet a person that you love, you want to do things for the other person. You have to open up. And the constant conversations we always had was — it is not always thinking about yourself, it is about companionship. And that is something she taught me when she came into my life. I was very self-centred before that. My life completely changed because I started looking at her and what can I do for her,” he added.
There will still be no cricket as the fourth phase of the lockdown starts. The phase started from May 18 and will continue till May 31. However, some relaxations have been announced for the fourth phase. The MHA has also permitted to open all the cricket stadiums and sports complexes in the country. However, they can not allow any spectator to enter the premises. But, this is certainly a piece of good news for sports fans.
