Indian skipper Virat Kohli has sent a gift and a message to the Indian colts that will play the U19 World Cup in New Zealand next month.
India U-19 team will be travelling to New Zealand for 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup. The World Cup will be from 13 January 2018 to 03 February 2018.
The Indian team is in Group B which also include Zimbabwe, Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Australia. This team is expected to beat Zimbabwe and PNG; and enter the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
The future will be decided on how the team performs. The young batting sensation Prithvi Shaw will be leading the Indian junior team for the first time in the World Cup. India was the runners-up in the 2016 World Cup.
The skipper of the senior side, Virat Kohli, has sent some gifts to the Indian colts. The gifts are from his brand One8. He also gave them a message through a tweet.

Virat also said, “The ICC U19 World Cup was a very important milestone in my career. It helped us get a good platform to build on and make our careers from thereon, so it holds a very important place in my mind and heart.
It’s very important to understand and respect the opportunity it provides you and as I said, for me, it holds a very special place in my heart.”
The colts have performed very well in latest events and are expected to go pretty ahead in the tournament. One thing about this team is that they will not go down without a fight, and they have brilliant skills for a fight.
The squad for the U19 World Cup is : Prithvi Shaw (Captain), Shubman Gill (vice-captain), Manjot Kalra, Himanshu Rana, Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag, Aryan Juyal (wicket-keeper), Harvik Desai (wicket-keeper), Shivam Mavi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Ishan Porel, Arshdeep Singh, Anukul Roy, Shiva Singh, Pankaj Yadav.
