MS Dhoni has been in sensational form ever since he returned to the Indian time after a brief period away from the game. The veteran wicketkeeper batsman bagged the Man of the Series award in the ODI series against Australia Down Under before carrying his good form to New Zealand where he played some really handy knocks for the men in blue. Dhoni will return to action when India take on Australia in the first T20I at Vizag on Sunday.
MS Dhoni was spotted sweating it out in the nets during the Indian cricket team’s practice session ahead on the eve of the first T20I. A recent video has surfaced on the internet in which the former Indian skipper can be seen pulling off a spectacular catch at the boundary ropes during the training session. MS Dhoni, who is regarded so highly for his wicketkeeping and batting abilities, has certainly made a strong case for himself in the field this time around.
The ball seemed to be going over the ropes for a six and Dhoni positioned himself perfectly to take the catch well aware of whereabouts of the boundary ropes. He managed to grab hold of the ball but the had the presence of mind to flick it in the air on realizing that he would not be able to stop it from going over the boundary. He stepped across the boundary ropes but made it back in time to finally complete the catch, making it look extremely easy in the end.
