The Sanchez transfer-saga has now taken a new turn and reports suggest Wenger is now ready to sell the Chilean in winter transfer window.
The Daily Star has reported that Arsenal have found Sanchez’s replacement in German international Julian Draxler. Alexis Sanchez’s contract expires in June 2018. He has shown no interest in signing a new contract and is looking for a move away from Emirates Stadium. Wenger, who initially wanted to use Sanchez until his contract runs out, has now changed his mind. Reports suggest that the Frenchman will allow Sanchez to leave if Arsenal receives a £30m offer.
The manager wants to use that amount to bring Draxler at Arsenal. The winger moved to PSG only in January but has not started many games since Neymar’s record move to Paris. Unai Emery has since gone for the trio of Canavi-Neymar-Mbappe, giving Draxler very few opportunities to showcase his talent.
Sanchez has been out of form this season with just 1 goal and 2 assists in Premier League. While the German international has scored 2 and assisted 2 for PSG in Ligue 1 in his limited appearances.

The Chilean has been linked with a move to Manchester City and Real Madrid. Arsenal will try to offload him in January to get some profit out of the move. It will not be easy for North London club to sign Draxler as Bayern Munich are also linked with the winger as Ribery’s successor.

Arsenal are 6th in the table right now and have a difficult game against Tottenham after the international break.
Sanchez’s contract renewal saga and repeated transfer rumours are just silly. Arsenal should have handled the situation more sensibly. They should definitely let him leave in January to get something out of the move.
Julian Draxler will be a great player to replace Sanchez. The way he played at Confed Cup was simply amazing to watch. He has played well at PSG when put in midfield, but the player of his quality and shooting abilities must be playing in the attack. Arsenal might just provide him with that.
