World Test Championship: India will resume its International Cricket matches after the commencement of IPL. With many tours and tournaments lined up, India needs a strong team that can perform under every condition.

IPL has helped BCCI find younger talents within the country and other players to regain their form. India currently stands at the second position in the world test rankings.

They ended the 2019- 21 World Test Championship as runner-ups after getting defeated by New Zealand in the finals. The second season of the World Test Championship started in 2021 with Pataudi Cup.

India will have to create a very strong test team that can perform in every condition and help them when the Test Championship. Many potential players can perform very well in the Indian Test Squad.

Many former cricketers think that the inclusion of some players can help India perform even better in the matches. Performing in tests on international soil is one of the major concerns of an Indian cricket team.

India will be playing one a weight test series this year in South Africa and a home series against Sri Lanka. They will have to make a stable team to perform better in both the series.

Virendra Sehwag was a very aggressive batsman who used to play test cricket in a limited-over match. Sehwag thinks that Prithvi’s show and Rishabh pant can make the test even more interesting. This duo can easily bat in tests and score big runs in a shorter time and keep the game more interesting.

Sehwag says that “He (Prithvi Shaw) is a player who can bring back the excitement in Test cricket. The opposition will have to think if 400 would be enough with Shaw and Pant in our ranks. Shaw and Pant in one team could help India rule Test cricket, win World Test Championship.”

We have all seen how capable Rishabh Pant is in test cricket. He bats aggressively and can score big runs in very less time. If Rishabh Pant is made to open he will get enough time to settle and can help the team to score continuous runs.

We have all seen his batting capabilities in this IPL. Despite Prithvi Shaw’s good performance in the earlier days of his career, he is constantly being dropped from the team due to a lack of his performance.

If given the chance he can perform very well and the Pant-Shaw duo can prove to be a good combination for the Indian team.
