At the DAV Academy in Chandigarh, Yograj Singh, the father of Yuvraj Singh, has been instructing Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Sachin Tendulkar. In anticipation of the impending JP Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament, the 22-year-old is getting ready.

Last year, Arjun made his domestic debut. However, thus far in his career, he has only played in two T20 games. Naturally, the boy hasn’t had as pleasant of a time as he had anticipated. The all-round bowler has also been a part of the Mumbai Indians for a while now. He is yet to play for the five-time IPL champions, though.

Recently, Arjun relocated his base from Mumbai to Goa in pursuit of a better opportunity. The phrase “nepotism” is popular right now, but Arjun’s experience shows that cricket is an industry where it doesn’t exist. The move to Goa, according to Arjun Tendulkar’s father, the great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, will give his son the most playing time. This is crucial at this point in his career, in his opinion.

“Getting maximum game time on the ground is important for Arjun at this juncture of his career. We believe that the shift will improve the probability of Arjun featuring in more competitive matches. He is embarking on a new phase of his cricketing career,” said Sachin Tendulkar.

Arjun hopes to leave an ever-lasting mark in the upcoming JP Atray Memorial Tournament. According to reports, 16 teams will take part in the competition. Sometimes going backwards first before moving forward is the wisest course of action. The youngster will also have a strong point to make in the competition.
