Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is currently at the twilight of his cricketing career. The wicketkeeper batsman already ages 37 and 2019 may most probably be his final year in international cricket. Dhoni, who is the only captain in the history of cricket to have won all three major ICC titles, continues to be an inspiration for youngsters even at this age.
Dhoni had a particularly bleak 2018 in which he could only manage 275 runs in 14 innings. The experienced campaigner however showed that he hadn’t run out of gas by any stretch of imagination as he struck back with 3 consecutive fifties to start the year 2019.

The 37 year old ended up as the leading run getter for India in the three match ODI series against Australia and was adjudged the Player of the Series for his superlative show in all the three matches.
Young Indian pacer Khaleel Ahmed, who made his international debut earlier this year in the Asia Cup, expressed his admiration for the veteran MS Dhoni. The 21 year old took to twitter to share a picture with the man himself, hailing him as a legend. He even captioned the photo as “Nobody like him #MahiBhai #Legend #IndianCricketTeam #BCCI”
Khaleel so far has played only seven ODIs and six T20Is in which he has picked up 11 and 6 wickets respectively. His best bowling figures of 3/13 came against West Indies at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Khaleel has certainly filled the void of a quality left arm pacer in the squad and has gone on to establish himself as a regular starter in the team. The left armer is currently in New Zealand but is yet to play a game in the series.
